GLP-1 Journal (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is a GLP-1 wellness tracking app for iOS published by AppFactor LLC. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains how we handle your information.

Data Collection

GLP-1 Journal does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All data is stored on your device and optionally synced through your personal iCloud account.

What Data Is Stored Locally

The following data is stored on your device and, if iCloud is enabled, synced privately through your iCloud account:

  • Your GLP-1 medication profile and dose history
  • Shot injection logs with date, site, and notes
  • Weight entries
  • Daily check-in data (appetite, energy, symptoms)
  • Text and dictated notes
  • App settings and preferences

iCloud Sync

If you have iCloud enabled on your device, your data may sync across your Apple devices through Apple's CloudKit service. This sync is private — data is stored in your personal iCloud container and is not accessible to us or any third party. iCloud sync is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

On-Device Processing

Features like speech recognition for dictation and image-based weight extraction run entirely on your device using Apple's built-in frameworks. No audio, images, or processed data is sent to any server.

Third-Party Services

GLP-1 Journal does not use any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising services. The only external services used are Apple's App Store for in-app purchases and Apple's CloudKit for optional iCloud sync, both governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Analytics & Tracking

We do not use any analytics or tracking tools. We do not collect usage data, device identifiers, or any form of telemetry.

Health Data

GLP-1 Journal stores health-related data such as weight and medication logs. This data is never shared with us or any third party. It remains on your device and in your private iCloud container.

Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. The app does not require account creation or any personal data input.

Data Sharing

We do not share any data with third parties because we do not collect any data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
