How do I set up app blocking?
Open Dewly, complete the onboarding flow, and select the apps or categories you want to manage. You'll need to grant Screen Time permissions when prompted.
Why do I need to approve Screen Time access?
Dewly uses Apple's Screen Time API (Family Controls) to manage app access. This requires your explicit permission and works entirely on your device.
Can I change which apps are blocked?
Yes. Go to the app picker in Dewly to update your selected apps and categories at any time.
Is my data private?
Yes. All data stays on your device. Dewly makes no network requests and uses no analytics or tracking. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How do I restore my purchase?
Purchases are managed through the App Store. Open Dewly and your purchase will be restored automatically. If not, go to Settings on your device and manage your App Store purchases.
What are psychological barriers?
When you try to override a block, Dewly presents a series of challenges — breathing exercises, cooldown timers, reflection prompts, and typed commitment phrases. These add friction between the impulse and the action, helping you stay on track.
